Our Preschool Program at a Glance

Our preschool is designed to prepare students socially and academically for kindergarten while providing them a Christian foundation for life. We follow the public school calendar from September to May. Our preschool program runs Monday-Friday, 8am-2:50pm with these additional options:

  • Pre-Kindergarten Monday/Wednesday/Friday

  • 3 & 4 year olds Tuesday/Thursday

Little Echoes Preschool's goals and objectives will be based on the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress: Minnesota's Early Learning Standards. These Indicators of Progress are divided into the following six domains that reflect the full range of child development:

 

  1. Social & Emotional Development

  2. Approaches to Learning​

  3. Language and Literacy Development

  4. Creativity and the Arts

  5. Cognitive Development

  6. Physical and Motor Development


We use the Handwriting Without Tears curriculums:

  • Reading & Writing

  • Language & Literacy

  • Numbers & Math

Our preschool program also includes:

  • Active play during recess, and free play

  • Separate class instruction for P.E. & Music

  • Parent conferences twice a year

  • Faith formation activities

  • Pre-readiness computer programs

  • IPads are incorporated into classroom learning

  • Time each week to use the library

  • Morning and afternoon snack

  • Daily rest time

Class size is limited to fifteen (20). Preference will be given to 4 & 5 year olds who register for Mon.-Fri. each week, by April 19, 2024. Registration is on a first paid registration, first-service basis. You will receive 10% off tuition if your child is signed up by April 19, 2024 and the non-refundable $100.00 deposit is paid. 
 

  • $110 for a full week (M-F)

  • $75/ wk for pre-kindergarten (M/W/F)

  • $55/ wk for preschool (T &TH)

  • Lunch is at additional cost and must be paid separately. Free/Reduced Federal Lunch Program is available. 

  • We use the public school bus system

  • We also have an electronic alert system for weather related announcements. 

Preschool Eligible Requirements


To be eligible to register for St. Mary's Little Echoes Preschool, a child must be: 

*at least 36 months old. (Note: Must be 5 years old by Sept. 1, for Kindergarten.)

*completely toilet trained
*up to date on their immunizations
